By eScire | Puebla, Mexico | December 15, 2022

On September 13, a virtual consultation was held at eScire by Julian Timal, DSpace technical advisor, in which the basic functions of DSpace were discussed. The event was freely accessible through the organization's social networks.

In this consultancy, the DSpace expert answered several questions about basic issues of the platform. Julian Timal began by explaining the context and background of the creation of the platform.

At the end of his short introduction, Julian opened the floor so that participants could ask questions and make comments in real time with examples within a DSpace demo. To give real examples he showed platforms of universities that are working in a public way.

Questions from the public included: DSpace scope, search filters, item order, privileges in communities and collections, statistics, among others.

At the end of the event, participants were invited to stay tuned for the next Lyrasis activities to continue resolving DSpace doubts..
