1) "Dynamic Database" - new repository listing on dspace.org with expanded information for the community, available here
2) Resource cleanup/building/refinement to equip the Ambassadors to succeed
    -better FAQ/knowledgebase
    -DSpace wiki clean up/re-org/migration
       *possible help from library student at University of Toronto or elsewhere
       *change structure of the FAQ - move from static list to a discussion forum
3) Promote social network and encourage more community discussions
    -re-defined requirements for social network - connect personally w/others AND the ability to have dynamic discussions (like ALCTS discussions), determine if Crowdvine can do what we want
    -have regular chats for RMs on specific topics (like the ALA discussion) - dspace general mailing list or social network? moderator to push topic and create a summary
4) Help to liase/represent community req'mts to committers
    -participate in the discussion of the new release process - DGOC members a part of the new collaborative group between user community and committers
       *gather feedback, understand what users mean, get good info and distill it down (from community, Ambassadors, etc.)
       *perform informal/formal survey on release features
       *help recruit a different kind of release mgr - depends on community decides
       *help cmtrs restructure JIRA to maximize repo mgrs engagement
5) Help develop webinars/tutorials
    -SWORD deposit tool
    -Batch metadata editing
    -Others?

2009 Projects

1) Help organize the DSUG Meetings at OR2009 in May 2009 (https://or09.library.gatech.edu/dspace.php) and DSUG stand alone mtg in Sweden in October 2009 (http://dsug09.ub.gu.se/index.php/dsug/dsug09)

2) Create a social network for the DSpace user community searchable by area of interest or expertise

3) Survey the DSpace user community and make all information available to the community through a dynamic database which can be queried and updated easily by users going forward ([Community Networking Survey Results|])

4) Create a list of projects/integrations/addons available for the DSpace platform

5) Recruit and organize a list of regional contacts for potential/new users who want to talk to someone local
