- Test plan was extensive
- Everyone sharing the same spreadsheet may not have been as useful because it was hard to determine which parts of the test plan had already been tested to better allocate resources. Would prefer a way to ensure that everything was adequately tested
- Problems with entity submission forms (missing??) in test instance - needed to use docker
- More guidance on how to report bugs
- Would have liked a mechanism for immediate feedback on process
- Could not have done it without Tim Donohue's help

- Concerned that additional layers of complexity have been added in recent upgrades - harder for smaller/less resourced institutions to implement (# of installation questions in google groups has increased)

- Enjoyed the testathon experience (Kimberley's daily meetings created a sense of community), but can be improved for future
- Future testathons needs to be better structured
- Spreadsheet concerns - worried about erasing data (updates wrote over someone else's data)
- Notes that Tim Donohue asked developers to do new tests for features (ORCID, notify features, etc) after testathon
- Additional tests were done quickly, not extensively
- One of the vendors/developers for one of the additional features also tested - should be another person as coders should not also test
- Many bugs found - insufficient time to address. Unsure whether DSpace 8 can be delivered on time
