titleAbout LD4P3

Welcome to the wiki for LD4P3 Linked Data for Production: Closing the Loop. With support from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, LD4P3 aims to "close the loop" to create a working model of a complete cycle for library metadata creation, sharing, and reuse. LD4P3 builds on the foundational work of LD4P2: Pathway to ImplementationLD4P Phase 1, and Linked Data for Libraries Labs (LD4L Labs).

The LD4P3 partners--Cornell University, Stanford University, and the University of Iowa's School of Library and Information Science--in collaboration with Share-VDE, the Library of Congress, and the Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC), focus their efforts in 5 areas, or Work Packages, detailed below. LD4P3 runs through June 30, 2023 (the project's original end date was June 30, 2022, and has been extended due to COVID impacts).
