VIVO release update

Daily release meetings are proceeding toward a code freeze – transitions to support the ISF are proceeding but have required some significant modifications to the VIVO application, especially to support the simplified property structure.

Mapping Symplectic Elements publication types to VIVO

Several VIVO institutions are also adopting Symplectic Elements, a tool for finding and managing publications and potentially other types of researcher activity data.  At Cornell, we have a third system with its publication types in the mix.  A google doc may be useful for coordinating how publication types in VIVO can map to Elements and vice-versa.
