Agenda
- Updates, issues, questions or feedback from sites
- Search and sort publications by PubMed type, instead of "VIVO" type See Tammy DiPrima's email on the development listserv
- related email from Tammy
- to see the PubMed types go to http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?term=17609514, and click the "Display Settings" link, you will get a drop-down menu of choices. Choose XML and hit "Apply". You will see an element called "PublicationTypeList".
- question about parent organization (see http://issues.library.cornell.edu/browse/VIVOONT-417)
- http://issues.library.cornell.edu/browse/VIVOONT-432 (Consider associating the awardConferredBy property with AwardReceipt instead of with Award)
- We need documentation for those who would like to create data that is compatible with the VIVO ontology. We will review what I've started to prepare in the area of positions. This can serve as a tutorial for those interested specifically in this area of the ontology, as well as an opportunity to get feedback on whether it is a useful form of documentation, as well as an opportunity for anyone to consider contributing similar documentation for other areas of the ontology. In the course of reviewing positions we will cover the idea of and reasons behind context nodes.
- http://issues.library.cornell.edu/browse/VIVOONT-416 (Modeling primary vs. secondary appointment)
- we will review ordering positions with a rank property vs. modeling primary and secondary as semantic concepts, and we will discuss whether to add those concepts to the shared core ontology.
