Enhanced Submission Process & Metadata Fields

The following options are available as customizations in DSpaceDirect:

• Enable item submission steps
  • E.g. optional item access conditions or cc-license steps.
• Modify instructional text on the submission form
• Modify a dropdown list in the submission form
  • e.g. use a custom list of item types, or common identifiers
• Add a new form field to the submission form
• Add a new sidebar facet / search filter to the search results sidebar
• Additional access conditions can be added to the item- and bitstream-level bulk access management dropdowns.
• Enable the Helpdesk Strategy for the request-a-copy feature
• Add metadata fields to the simple item form
• Other requests can be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
