En eScire, el 8 de noviembre se llevó a cabo de manera virtual el webinar impartido por el asesor técnico en Dspace, Abelardo Hernández, en el que se abordaron los métodos de autentificación para Dspace 7. El evento fue de acceso libre, a través de las redes sociales de la organización.
En este webinar, el experto de DSpace 7 realizó una exposición de los 3 tipos de autentificación para la plataforma. Se abordaron temas como definiciones, funcionamiento e implementación de LDAP, Shibboleth y CAS.
Al finalizar su exposición, Abelardo dio sus conclusiones de la mejor opción de autentificación, mostró las ventajas y desventajas de cada uno para que los usuarios de DSpace los tomen en cuenta. Para dar por concluida su participación, Hernández contestó dudas que tenían los asistentes de forma virtual por medio del apartado de comentarios.

At eScire, on November 8, a virtual webinar was held by Dspace technical advisor Abelardo Hernández, in which the authentication methods for Dspace 7 were discussed. The event was open access, through the organization's social networks.
In this webinar, the DSpace 7 expert gave a presentation on the 3 types of authentication for the platform. Topics such as definitions, operation and implementation of LDAP, Shibboleth and CAS were covered.
At the end of his presentation, Abelardo gave his conclusions on the best authentication option, showing the advantages and disadvantages of each one so that DSpace users can take them into account. To conclude his participation, Hernandez answered questions that the attendees had virtually through the comments section.
