Este espacio está pensado para facilitar el intercambio de información entre los usuarios de DSpace en España acerca de sus actividades, proyectos, eventos e ideas, así como para darles a conocer ante la comunidad global de DSpace y sus líderes. En España hay más de 110 instalaciones de DSpace y una gran comunidad de usuarios. Esta página y sus sub-páginas son plataformas para coordinar la colaboración entre las instituciones españolas usuarias de DSpace a fin de facilitar sus discusiones en torno a la herramienta en el país. 

El espacio está coordinado Isabel Bernal (CSIC), en nombre del Grupo de Repositorios de REBIUN (Red Española de Bibliotecas Universitarias). Este grupo fue creado en la XIX Asamblea de REBIUN (2011) y tiene la responsabilidad de: Potenciar los repositorios de contenidos y datos de investigación y docencia institucionales y aprovechar las tecnologías e interoperabilidad para impulsar nuevos servicios de valor añadido. This space is thought to make it easy for DSpace users in Spain to share information about their activities, projects, events and ideas and to make them known to the global DSpace Community. In Spain there are more than 110 DSpace installations and a vibrant community of users. This page and its sub-pages are the platform to coordinate the collaboration among Spanish institutions in order to facilitate discussions on Country specific themes and topics of interest.

The space is coordinated by Isabel Bernal (CSIC), on behalf of the REBIUN Repositories Group (Spanish Network of University Libraries). This group was created at the XIX REBIUN Assembly (2011) and has the responsibility of: Strengthening the repositories of institutional research and teaching content and data and taking advantage of technologies and interoperability to promote new value-added services. 1. ¿Quién está usando DSpace en España? (Who is using DSpace in Spain?)

DuraSpace mantiene un registro de las instalaciones de DSpace que están funcionando actualmente en España. Por favor, ubica el registro de tu institución y verifica si la información registrada es correcta y está al día. Si tu institución no figura en el registro, puedes añadirla en el siguiente enlace: https://duraspace.org/registry/register-your-site/

In the DuraSpace Registry there are information about the DSpace installations currently running in Spain. Please take a moment to look for your Institution and check whether the information is correct. 2. ¿Cómo nos comunicamos? (How to communicate)

Hay numerosas maneras de mantenernos en contacto, tanto a nivel global con la comunidad mundial de DSpace (en inglés), como a nivel nacional con la comunidad española (en español).

There are numerous ways to get in touch, both at a global level with the general DSpace Community (in English) and at the specific country level (in Spanish).

2.a. Listas de correo (Mailing Lists)

A nivel global, hay varias listas de correo públicas a las que te puedes unir, dependiendo de tu interés particular:

Próximamente habilitaremos una lista para los temas relacionados con DSpace en España.

2.b. Slack

DSpace usa Slack como plataforma de comunicación. Dentro de Slack hemos creado un nuevo canal para el Grupo Español de Usuarios de DSpace: #dspace-es. Para participar, solicita una invitación al espacio de trabajo para unirte al canal principal de Slack de DSpace. Luego busca el canal #dspace-es y añádelo a tu lista.

DSpace is using  Slack  as communication platform. Within slack there is a new channel for the Spanish DSpace User Group: #dspace-es. After joining the DSpace Slack workspace , just look for #dspace-es and add it to your list.

2.c. Eventos

Esta sección mostrará los eventos que se organizarán especificos para la comunidad de DSpace en España, tanto de manera virtual como presencial.
