Join us to learn about the VIVO Scholar beta release.
Friday, April 3, at 10:00 EST
We talked about:
- Search tabs, filters and facets – we demo'ed the most recent VIVO Scholar search features and plans for the Search Popup and highlighting.
- More styling still in the works
- Customizing by institution – goal is to make it easy for web developers with javascript/html/css skills. We'll provide a library of web components and templates that are easy to change. Adding facets to the search will be pretty easy.
- GraphQL endpoint – it's self-documented so queries will be simple for other web developers at your institution to consume VIVO data.
- Multi-language support – static text can be changed using VIVO language files but support for content in multiple languages won't be in the beta release (unless you want to help us add it).
- Beta release: planned for May 8 or therebouts
- Video of the call is here.
