VIVO Working Groups

Working Groups Interest groups provide recurring, standing opportunities to participate in the VIVO community among people with common interests.  interest groups operate under the oversight and direction of the VIVO Steering Group, and are advised by the VIVO community Community at large. The working groups provide regular reports to interest group chairs meeting monthly with the VIVO Steering Group on to discuss activities, issues, opportunities, plans, and resource needs. The leaders of the Working Group are members of the VIVO Management Team, which also includes the VIVO Project Director and DuraSpace Colleagues (as needed).  Anyone, even if you are not a VIVO Member, is invited and encouraged to participate in the VIVO Working Groupsinterest groups.

The VIVO Working Groups help:interest groups:

  • Share work of community members

  • Plan events;

  • Manage development tasks;

  • Coordinate with other projects, tool developers, and partners;

  • Engage with other projects and experts on key issues and opportunities for the VIVO community.

The  Interest Group Archive contains materials that are no longer used by the VIVO Project, but may have historical value.
