Examples

Here are some tentative end user use case examples, just to get your brain juices flowing. Again, these are just made up examples, albeit realistic ones.

  • Accessing a video stored as a bitstream in DSpace, on a mobile phone (HTML5). It's important that the user doesn't need to wait until the whole video is loaded before starting playback.

  • Creating a new item in DSpace should be as easy as a filling out a single, simple form/page, comparable to Youtube, Scribd or Slideshare.
