1. Participation Fee

Pilot organisations are required to contribute $4,000 USD toward running this pilot. Please note that Duraspace and Research Graph are validating a business model for this cloud service based on a cost recovery model. The participation fee covers a portion of the pilot development cost. This fee will be revised for the production level service based on the results of the pilot.

  2. Service Testing

The pilot organization will agree to:

    • Provide data (e.g. about faculty, publications, grants, etc)

    • Participate in the Cloud Pilot Working Group

    • Undertake User Acceptance Tests (UAT),

      • Conducting searches in VIVO interface and assessing results

      • Observe and provide feedback on the speed of the hosted product, theme (look/feel), and other elements of the product you value.

    • Make recommendations based on experience regarding the benefits of the service, the gaps in the service, and your perceived value of the service (to inform pricing).

  3. Pilot Communications
The pilot organization will participate in synchronous and asynchronous communications with DuraSpace and Research Graph during the pilot period, including conference calls, email, surveys, and webinars. Weekly check-ins will be scheduled with representative(s) of the Cloud Pilot Working Group during the term.

  4. Post-Pilot Information Sharing

Data provided will be used for testing purposes only. It will not be disseminated or made available after the pilot.  Insights and UAT results gathered during the Cloud Pilot may be used in published articles, blog posts, conference presentations and/or highlighted in webinars.
