Under the hood of VIVO: an open forum
- VIVO's tech lead Graham Triggs will join call attendees for an open discussion of in-depth technical issues regarding the development and maintenance of VIVO/Vitro.
- The VIVO Roadmap Task Force is meeting next week to discuss VIVO 1.8.1 next steps, as well initial release planning for a backward-compatible VIVO 1.9 release.
- Today's call will continue a long running discussion on deeper issues that kicked off (for many) at the 2015 VIVO I-Fest at OHSU in Portland.
- With that in mind, please come primed with thoughts or issues that you have regarding the current state of VIVO 1.8's architecture and user experience.
- Issues might range from topics raised on the mailing list such as performance or other opportunities for optimization, to larger questions about architecture and user experience.
