Notes

ORCID-VIVO integration

The project proposal will be submitted till 3rd of May. The results are expected in June. In the case it is selected for funding, the committers group will discuss the approach for the implementation.

Configuration classes modifications for Dynamic API branch alignment

https://github.com/vivo-project/Vitro/pull/446

Georgy explained how merging of this PR can enhance further development (and rebasing) dynapi branch. Brian is not against merging this PR. Georgy said it is not urgent at the moment to be merged. It will be needed once we have some ongoing PR over the dynapi branch which might be in conflict with these changes. Dragan suggested to merge this (if possible), after releasing VIVO 1.15.0.

Menu pages can't be modified

Benjamin approved this PR. We have two committers who approved this PR, meaning it is not necessary anymore that Brian reviews this PR.

Added search results sort fallback

https://github.com/vivo-project/Vitro/pull/456

Brian suggested a change of labels in English. Also, he suggested keeping only Spanish translations taking into account interest in Latin America for VIVO.

Wilma responsive theme

https://github.com/vivo-project/Vitro/pull/460

https://github.com/vivo-project/VIVO/pull/3972

Georgy started reviewing this pair of PRs. It looks good. However, we should reconsider our decision to keep only one theme. German institutions are dominantly using Tenderfoot, while the rest institutions are using Wilma. Dragan asked whether it is possible to keep themes, but to make them easier for maintaining, for instance by removing theme specific ftl files. Georgy started working on the Tenderfoot theme bootstrap version update.

VIVO 1.14.3

The PR https://github.com/vivo-project/Vitro/pull/463

should be merged and integrated in VIVO 1.14.3 release candidate 2.
