    • Title: The Brazilian Scientific Research Information Ecosystem and the developments over and around the VIVO Software
    • Abstract: In this presentation we will show the Brazilian Scientific Research Information Ecosystem. This consists of the following elements: 1) a search interface built on the React javascript framework, on Elasticsearch indexes; 2) Dashboards built on the same Elasticsearch indexes; 3) An instance of the VIVO software, where we have added some visualizations using the D3.js javascript library. It should be added that all the information aggregated and exported to the Elasticsearch indexes and to the VIVO instance is pre-processed and loaded onto a platform built in the JAVA language, which was developed within the framework of the LA Referencia Network

DRAGAN: Ivan implemented this and we have to review it. Ivan explained to me that if you specify locale in path and then through user interface it produces a conflict but it is also resolved through JS code.

• Responsive wilma theme

DRAGAN: Milos created PR, and I think he has a really nice approach. It is tricky to test but he provided a video where you can compare the look and feel.

• VuFind and VIVO interoperability

DRAGAN: I tried one additional time to contact Jafet but he did not respond. I will wait and let everyone know what he said if he responds.

• VIVO 1.15

DRAGAN: For other 1.15 tasks review is in progress. It will be completed these days hopefully. Ivan reported for “I forgot my password” issue, there is some progress and it will hopefully be done until the end of a week. 

• Dynamic API

DRAGAN: We are getting close, most of the problems have been resolved and only small issues are remaining. There is also a draft PR for dynapi REST endpoints for Person, Event and OU.

• Vitro as a stand-alone application

DRAGAN: There is missing documentation for this, I don’t think that we should write a lot of pages for Vitro but we should provide some instructions and example to run it as a standalone application. Does someone have an idea where we should put this info in VIVO documentation? I also found a few pages mentioning Vitro, links are above in the agenda.

DRAGAN: New issue reported. Map is generated from the content from VIVO. Issue is that some url tag is not closed when it is generated from the backend. I cannot reproduce it locally.

GEORGY: I think Brian did some fix for sitemap, before 1.12, what version do they use?

DRAGAN: BrCRIS should be next Tuesday. Integration with SOLID (graph management approach) will also be discussed.

• Conferences

DRAGAN: EuroCRIS will publish a call for papers soon. Dates are here but all contributions are not in yet. I will present some aspects of VIVO there most likely.
