VIVO 2017 Conference web site.  You'll want to book mark http://vivoconference.org, an all new conference web site for 2017!  The VIVO Conference will be held at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, August 2-4.  See you there!

VIVO 2017 Workshops.  In more conference news, VIVO 2017 Task Force is pleased to announce that next year's conference will have exciting changes in the way the workshops are organized:  First, workshops will be free of charge!  The conference is making this change to lower costs and encourage participation.  If you are planning to attend the conference, please plan to attend one or more workshops.  Second, workshop proposers, after having their workshop accepted, will be responsible for selecting speakers for their workshops who are experts in the field. By having more focused discussion on relevant topics, we hope to enable VIVO conference attendees to learn what is new in specific fields of interest to the community and tho participate in conversations regarding the advances.

No call this Thursday.  This Thursday is the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States.  Thanksgiving is a time for family to gather, have a traditional dinner, reflect and give thanks for all the goodness of life.  I hope everyone has a chance to share the good things in their lives with each other on this special day.

Go VIVO!
