Notes
- Updates
- Thomson Reuters is now a Registered Service Provider for VIVO. Duraspace is developing communications and operational plans for bringing them on board. Will do a press release. Their representative to the Leadership Group will change. They will name a new person.
- LD4L and LD4P projects at Cornell will be making improvements to Vitro. Will also be developing a library cataloguing specific "head" for Vitro as a test case application for cataloguing using linked data. VIVO Project should be able to support building Vitro as a stand along application, and also support Vitro+head, as it does in 1.9 for the VIVO head. Also need to consider how documentation will be done. Vitro documentation should be reusable across multiple heads. As the VIVO Project considers documentation for 1.9, we will review how Vitro documentation might be reused in VIVO documentation.
- Monthly tracking data – registry clean-up resulted in removal of duplicates and errors, lowering count of sites and countries.
