    1. Task force updates
      1. Search index task force has been archived as inactive.
      2. IFest task force archived.
      3. Asset task force in progress.  68 assets (listservs, web sites, repos, other) identified so far.  Includes Duraspace assets in support of VIVO – newsletter, CRM, etc.  Another 10 "suggested" assets – things we might be missing.  Next step is to identify some key people with institutional knowledge.  Then review assets with identified stewards and then community members. 
      4. User Stories task force has completed first user story (Brown).  Will solicit for more.
      5. Contributed software task force has charter see VIVO Contributed Software Task Force
      6. Implementation documentation task force has charter see VIVO Implementation Documentation Task Force
    2. Thomson Reuters hiring a VIVO facilitator.  See job posting.
    3. VIVO/ORCID webinar April 16.  40 active participants at the webinar with 160 registered to watch the live and archived webinar.  Good description of purpose, active work.
      1. comment – registration was capped at 160 people. 40 (at the peak) attended live.  Duraspace caps enrollment to prevent turning people away during the live event, which can only handle 100.
      2. comment – Many people register for webinars so that we can get the link to watch the recording at a later date.
    4. Mike spoke with Amy Brand regarding CRediT as a VIVO ontology extension.  Mike will draft an implementation analysis for review.
    5. Mike is working with DuraSpace web team on migration of vivoweb.org and an upgraded look for the site.
    6. Search committee meeting update.  Committee met once to review applicants to date, review job description, and discuss expectations for the position.

    8. VIVO 1.8 2nd release candidate is through testing with 4 open issues – none seen as serious
    9. Conference workshops close to being finalized
  2. Conference Sponsorship for the conference and Corporate Membership documents?
    1. Jonathan has a one-pager and will send to everyone

  3. Management Team
    1. Can we move to a once-a-month shared meeting with the working group leads? Key people doing a great job but not sure why they are being called to another meeting
    2. Would like them to discuss with them what the communication issues are, what they should be involved in
    3. Too many layers as is.  Other projects do not have this.  Disrupts our communication as we spend time relaying information.
    4. Invite them to join a steering group meeting in a couple of weeks.  The meeting policy of each group is up to the group; when we have a joint meeting, ask them to put their monthly summary of bullets ahead of the meeting
      1. The Planning wiki will remain for elected members of the Steering group.
      2. Making it possible for anyone to mail Steering at any time.  
  4. Partnerships – Who are our partners? Why are they partners (why is it important to us)? What is the state of the relationship?

      1. Will be the corporate sponsor representing Symplectic.  And then able to represent other Digital Science efforts – figshare and others
