Notes

Status Updates

  1. Steve
    1. Missing datastreams in Fedora 3
      1. What happens to these during the migration?
      2. Are these the only errors or are there other errors?
      3. If the tool hits an error does it keep the good information or just trash the object?
      4. Mike will investigate the broken PIDs to determine if the objects are important or not
      5. Steve can map the PID to the path to find the file in Fedora 3
      6. Need to test a working collection using a PID list
    2. Last PID and a number in the resume.txt
      1. What does this number indicate?
      2. On resume, does it retry failed PIDs?
      3. A summary would be useful
    3. How to line up Fedora 3 to Fedora 6 content
      1. Query a PID and get the path in the migrated output
  2. Mike
    1. We don't know which external systems might still be accessing the data
    2. For XTF we'll need to do some mapping
    3. Are we retaining the PIDs? Will the URLs be the same?
