- Time disrupted last week slowing progress (little notice family visit)
- Worked with T.J to prepare "SIDora" AMI
- The communications are very positive
- They as supposed to clean up first, then upload image
- Its was supposed to be finished by Friday but no information
- I have emailed them this morning
- Have "directory" object designed and tests on branch
- Made progress on FITS and pipeline

Longer term DfR planning
- Kim got back to Jonathan, no longer available
- Discussion with Michele, everyone on the same page
- Short-term goal: Put together the best possible demonstrable prototype we can
- Future:
- Need to asses what we are able to do as an org
- What kind of partnerships might we be able to capitalize on in a subsequent phase
- We need more firepower to be able to move into the next phase
- How could we interest potential funders (like Sloan) to fund the next phase of work
- Thorny is interested in moving forward with us
- Need to determine how compatible the SiDora work is with our future direction
- Michele suggested getting in touch with Johns Hopkins, to see what they are doing
- Michele suggested talking to CDL to see what researcher offerings they are planning to put forth
- Jonathan and Michele are starting to reach out
- Iteration 0.3 just became simpler - no more survey and interview work
- Just need to complete the other pieces of 0.3 to create the best demo possible given the time available
- Need to complete both process and development documentation
- Next monday's meeting to discuss documentation work
Tech Updates
- Given change in direction, Bill will remove survey/interview tasks from 0.3, change priority on other stuff
- We will discuss documentation tasks at next Monday's meeting
- We will need to complete 0.3 development tasks before end of the year (for demonstrations), add documentation tasks for completion soon after end of the year.
- SI is getting their image ready to be delivered to us
- Dan making good progress on incorporating file format characterization and validation into OCS
- Bill doing Java 7 upgrades to DuraCloud; will do DfR afterwards
- Danny will make Upsync available to Jonathan
