  • Preamble: Why I'm doing this interview (trying to make life easier for researchers)
  • Who are you? (What research are you conducting? What is your role in the project?)
  • How is your research conducted, who is it conducted with? How is data captured?
  • How does your current process for data management work?
    • Do you know where the data is currently?
    • Determine level of understanding for current data flow process (where does it go and when)
    • What do they like or not like about current tools/processes?
    • Are you currently using tools like Box/DropBox/Carbonite? For what purpose?
  • Talk about the notions of DfR (sell it a bit)
    • Get feedback on the ideas
    • Which features/ideas seem to resonate?
    • Which bits of the story generate the most interest or excitement?
