• Ontology Integration
  • 2025-11-26 VIVO Leadership Group Meeting - ROR ID needs to be in the next VIVO release. Can we work of a comprehensive framework/process that integrates ontology releases into the VIVO app? What are the requirements?
  • Fallback solution is copying some new elements into the vivo application repository
  • Ontology and plattform development is decoupled. 
  • Questions that may arise:
    • Is configuration of the VIVO application needed? Such as property groups etc.
      • Permissions for the root user.
    • Do forms need to be changed? (must or nice-to-have)?
    • Does the ontology change break something?
    • Are faux properties affected.
    • Most questions need to be answered on the tech side, but we need to communicate with each other. A process is needed.
