2025-11-26 VIVO Leadership Group Meeting - ROR ID needs to be in the next VIVO release. Can we work of a comprehensive framework/process that integrates ontology releases into the VIVO app? What are the requirements?
Fallback solution is copying some new elements into the vivo application repository
Ontology and plattform development is decoupled.
Questions that may arise:
Is configuration of the VIVO application needed? Such as property groups etc.
Permissions for the root user.
Do forms need to be changed? (must or nice-to-have)?
Does the ontology change break something?
Are faux properties affected.
Most questions need to be answered on the tech side, but we need to communicate with each other. A process is needed.
