As part of their exploration of linked data identity management workflows, some LD4P2 cohort institutions are participating in the Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC)'s ISNI initiative. ISNI (International Standard Name Identifier) is the ISO certified global standard number for identifying the millions of contributors to creative works and those active in their distribution.

Institutions participating in the PCC ISNI initiative will learn to create and update ISNI identifiers, and will have access to training materials, guidance and expertise from members of the PCC ISNI Pilot group and the PCC ISNI Training Task Group.  The initiative is being coordinated by members of the Harvard LD4P team.

For more information, please see the LD4P ISNI cohort wiki page on the PCC ISNI wiki.
