Semantic Versioning. I'd like to start a conversation around a proposal to use Semantic Versioning for future releases of VIVO. Semantic versioning defines major, minor and patch releases, and does so in a way that appears to be appropriate for VIVO, well defined, and well, its semantic, so it seems particularly well-suited to VIVO. Please take a look at a one page proposal for using Semantic Versioning with VIVO. You can leave comments on the Google Doc, or send an email to Mike Conlon with your thoughts.
