The Fedora Program is relaunching the Fedora Camp! On hiatus since the global pandemic, Fedora Camps were once a staple in Fedora community programming. And this year, we’re bringing it back!
What is a Fedora Camp? Think Virtual Showcase meets hands-on workshops, geared specifically for Fedora users. An all-in-one opportunity to gather, engage, and learn alongside your fellow Fedora community members. And a great chance to connect face-to-face. But not to worry, Fedora Camp is not intended to replace the Virtual Fedora Showcase…merely supplement it!

Want to Come and Share Your Work?
Show Us What You’ve Got!
Whether you're a long-time Fedora user or new to the community, we are still inviting you to share your work and ideas to help make this event special. We're looking for presentations, workshops, and lightning talks that showcase the flexibility and diversity of our global Fedora community of users.
Below, find some presentation ideas. Ideas do not need to fall into any of these categories specifically, they are simply suggestions!
Implementation Show & Tell – Walk us through your repository stack, explore what technology you are using, and how you’ve built your system to meet your needs.
Migration Stories – Share your Fedora migration successes, planning processes, and any lessons learned along the way.
Unique Use Cases – Are you using Fedora in an unexpected or innovative way? Share your use case as a model for what others can do.
Preservation Workflows – How does Fedora fit into your digital preservation strategy?
Optimizing OCFL – As a foundational element of Fedora 6.x, OCFL offers many benefits for long-term preservation. How are you handling OCFL objects and why is this important to your institution?
Intro to Your Repository – Take us on a guided tour of your institution's Fedora implementation. Maybe it doesn’t seem exciting to you, but there is much to be learned by others who want to see what is possible.
Proposal Submissions are now closed.
Why Present?
Share your knowledge and build connections with the Fedora community.
Collaborate with peers working on similar projects and facing similar challenges.
