When Pete wanted to submit his research paper, he filled in all his metadata once in one of the organisations systems. After the submission all platforms his organisation uses collected that metadata. In this way his research was automatically added to all platforms. So Pete does not have to add his research separately to his organisational resumé, the repository, etc.
