Fedora is a standards-based, open source repository designed for the robust preservation of digital content.  It provides a REST interface based on web standards including the  Linked-Data Platform (LDP)Web Access Control (Solid/WebAC)Memento, and Activity Streams 2.0 specifications.   Persistent content is stored on disk using the  Oxford Common Filesystem Layout (OCFL), the gold-standard of application-independent, transparent, and robust file storage.   Applications can easily integrate with Fedora via the well-documented HTTP interface or via a messaging broker using STOMP or JMS protocols.  For more information about the Fedora Repository project and community, go to Fedora Repository Home.
