The progress bar is not visually prominent, or is difficult to understand to a user. Potential solutions could be to make the bar larger, have more contrast, or show up with the navigation hidden OR visible.

Also, the description of the current chapter or spine element that the reader is currently in should either fall back to the TOC description of the user's location, or simply use that location Exclusively since it guarantees a name and not a default "Current Chapter"

  • No progress info when user is reading (so as not to clutter the space)
  • User taps the preview mode to see:
    • scrollable page thumbnails with page number at the bottom of each
    • an overall progress bar with markings for: 
      • book marks
      • current location: i.e. "Loc 937 of 4956
      • percent of book completed: i.e "18%"
