Dear Friends,

If it's June it's time for the 14th Annual Open Repositories Conference this year being held at the University of Hamburg in Hamburg, Germany. DuraSpace will be represented in workshops and conference sessions by staff and community members. Please be sure and say hello to Andrew Woods, Davis Wilcox, Michele Mennielli and Tim Donohue if you see them and plan on joining them at the DuraSpace reception which will be held at the Pony Bar from 7-9 PM on Monday, June 10.

We continue to work withIn addition, we are pleased to invite you to submit proposals by June 21 for the upcoming North American DSpace Users Meeting to be held September 23 and 24, 2019 at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

Last but not least, we are pleased to report that the first 2 Google Scholar webinars were very well attended. We had over 100 participants in both Brazil and Peru (with over 400 registrants in Brazil) and great engagement. Slides and recording are available in the WIKI pages of the Brazilian and the Peruvian DSpace User Groups. Thanks to the support and collaboration of LA Referencia, we connected with all 9 Latin American National Nodes. We will hold national webinars in June for Argentina and Germany and are in the process of planning webinars for DSpace users in Ghana, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Mexico. Feel free to contact us if you're interested in collaborating with us to organize a national webinar in your country.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or feedback.

Warm regards,

Erin Tripp

Executive Director
