March - May 2019
- Architecture meeting (first in-person meeting at UCSD) (All team members, led by
Project Manager) - Creation and validation of user stories. Project team members will brainstorm potential
stories, and review them with community stakeholders, led by the Community Manager.
The Community Manager and Emory University Representative will also share the
outcomes of the discussion with appropriate communities outside the project, for
feedback. - Review and discussion of architectures and systems interaction, led by the Specification
Leads. This review and discussion will explore known issues and challenges and begin
discussion of possible recommendations. The Community Manager and Emory
University Representative will also share the outcomes of the discussions with
appropriate communities outside the project, for feedback. - Evaluation of OCFL as a versioning mechanism, led by the Specification Leads. This
evaluation will focus on how OCFL might allow for the propagation of user/system-requested
changes between Hyrax and Chronopolis.
June - August 2019
- Draft detailed technical specifications for Hyrax, Fedora, and/or DuraCloud Bridge
application development (dependent on which software is recommended for use in the
architectural overview). These specifications would include an outline for a general DDP
profile as well as one specific to Chronopolis. This would be led by the Specification
Leads. The Community Manager and Emory University Representative will also share
the draft(s) with appropriate communities outside the project. - Draft detailed technical specifications for Chronopolis development, led by the
Chronopolis Specification Lead. - Draft basic user interface (in the form of wireframes and/or visual mockups), led by the
User Interface Designer. The Community Manager and Emory University Representative
will also share the draft(s) with appropriate communities outside the project.
September - December 2019
- Specification Meeting (second meeting at UCSD). This meeting will be led by the Project
Manager and involve all team members. The outcome of the meeting will be a set of
recommendations and specifications based on the grant work to this point. - Committee review of all drafted materials, led by Program Manager with input from the
Principal Investigator. - Finalize all drafted specifications and user interface recommendations, led by the Project
Manager.
January 2020
- Prepare and submit all final reporting requirements to the Mellon Foundation, led by the Project Manager
and Principal Investigator.
