The VIVO "rich export" functionality was developed by Stella Mitchell, then at Cornell, to complement the DV-Docs VIVO mini-grant work at the University of Pittsburgh.
Rich export is designed to provide a means of executing one or more pre-defined queries via a URL within the VIVO application in order to receive the results in a form consumable by another application.
