- we have two more upcoming webinars:
Notable implementation and development list issues
anything more on Fuseki behind Apache (Stephen) -- working on a domain name issue - “sparql.vivo.colorado.edu” with central IT and within the Fuseki code that needs you to be at the root of the domain
- Web Stats for VIVO sites (Alex) – Had lunch with some local web and mobile app startup founders and they spent a good portion of lunch talking about the analytics tools they were using. It seemed like most used Google Analytics (GA), but had moved beyond GA and were praising Mixpanel (https://mixpanel.com) and Chartbeat (https://chartbeat.com) as alternatives that were more accessible than GA for startups (aka small teams with no analyst FTEs).
- does anyone have experience with Mixpanel or Chartbeat? what parts of Analytics do people find useful? what questions are we trying to answer?
- Eric -- UCSF uses Analytics heavily and an effort amongst the research networking group (in communication with the evaluation group) to come up with a common way to use analytic tools so all the CTSAs using research networking platforms have a common set of stats -- industry benchmarks, in effect
- Paul -- I've personally used Woopra before. Weill has been using New Relic and finds that useful for performance issues, including its ability to send notifications
- Duke has been following tweets about scholars@duke
- Mark (via list) We have been playing with site.ai
