  • Introductions

9:15am: Lightning Talks (Official Timer: TBD)

  • Very brief 2-3 minute talks on cool things you are working on at your institution (preferably repo-related)
  • This session is meant to give a lot people (developers and non-developers alike) a brief period to talk about cool things you have done or are working on.
  • No slides allowed (we'd like this to be informal & quick). But there will be an Internet enabled laptop available to show something off briefly.
  • After your talk, please add relevant links to this wiki page (so that people can follow up with you later for more information, etc.)

DuraSpace / Fedora / "DSpace on Fedora" Discussion & Updates (Featuring Jonathan Markow)

  • First 1/2 hour : Jonathan Markow, DuraSpace's Chief Strategy Officer, will discuss and lead a Q&A regarding the latest DuraSpace strategies, Fedora RoadMap/Plans and provide updates about the "DSpace on Fedora" concept.
  • Second 1/2 hour : Extra time for Q&A (as needed) or open discussion on DuraSpace / DSpace on Fedora / Fedora plans and how they relate to DSpace plans/roadmap.

  • Developer / DCAT collaboration - how has it been, what improvements can we make

10:30am: Ask a Committer / Developer Anything (Discussion Director: TBD)

  • This is a time where anyone (non-devs or devs) can ask anything!
  • It is an opportunity to ask about something that's been bugging you in DSpace, or something that you'd really like to see changed / fixed.
  • It is also an opportunity to throw out an idea/brainstorm to the Developers/Committers to get quick feedback.
