titleTL;DR : How to just get testing!
  • You can help test DSpace 7.0 by visiting either:
    • httphttps://demodemo7.dspace.org (primary testing server, providing all available DSpace interfaces) ==> TODO VERIFY IF THIS IS THE FINAL TARGET URL
    • OR, download DSpace 67.0 Release Candidate #1Beta 5  (LINK COMING SOON) and install it locally (or test an upgrade) ==> TODO VERIFY LOCAL INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
    • OR, use Vagrant-DSpace Docker to quickly install DSpace 6 on a local virtual machine (e.g. in VirtualBox) ==> TODO VERIFY VAGRANT INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS7 locally (see Try out DSpace 7)
  • DSpace 7.0 Documentation is available at: DSpace 7.0 Documentation (Documentation feedback is also welcome! Contact Tim Donohue if you'd like to help us enhance our 7.0 documentation!)
  • Help is available at the DSpace-TECH Google Group or via live text chat on Slack

...

WHEN: Monday, April 19 through Friday, May 7, 2021 (DATES NOT YET FINAL). You can keep visiting the site and post your feedback, as part of continual improvement.

WHY: The sooner we find and fix bugs, the higher quality the software will be when it comes time to upgrade or install DSpace 7.0.

HOW: Go to httphttps://demodemo7.dspace.org and test-drive the new user interface. We're looking for feedback on the DSpace software, as well as feedback on our unreleased 7.0 documentation.

Test Plan:
