The 2021 North American User Meeting will be was held on on January 19, 2021, 12:00 to 3:00 EST.  We want Our goal was to encourage our current and prospective users in Canada and the U.S. to meet each other and hear what’s happening with their VIVO implementations. This virtual event is was open to anyone, anywhere in the world, but will be most convenient was geared for those in the American time zones.

In this meeting, we’ll show each other our VIVO sites (or work in progress) and discuss any challenges with the software, implementation, or sustainability. You’ll hear how others approach these issues, and maybe you’ll find a solution, meet someone nearby, or get inspired. If you’re new to VIVO, we’ll point you to the communication channels, mailing lists, and ways to learn more about implementing VIVO.

This meeting is not only for developers. We’ll be talking about all aspects of managing VIVO, such as policy decisions, situating VIVO in the academic environment, and outreach to faculty, and we welcome all voices.
