The VIVO Steering Group provides overall guidance to the project, ensures that the goals of the project are met, and provides strategic guidance and support to the VIVO Project Director. A Chair and Vice-Chair are elected by the Steering Group annually. The Chair (or the Vice Chair in the Chair’s absence), convenes meetings, manages agendas, and ensures transparency of communication. The VIVO Steering Group meets every other week.
Members are elected to serve three year terms by either Leadership, or at large. See VIVO Project Charter v 1.1 for additional details.
