Overview

The Islandora Importer supports the import of a large number of objects simultaneously. It is intended primarily for ingesting objects described by MODS (and DC).

It includes a number of importer modules:

• RIS Importer*
• EndNoteXML Importer
• Pubmed Importer*
• Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) Importer*
• Zip File Importer

* Currently, only creates "citation" documents, as used in the islandora_scholar module
