Agenda

Notes

  • Questions/Issues/Pull requests/Announcements

DRAGAN: Meetup in Berlin, Georgy will be there. Progress in REST DYNAPI, we need to fix some issues which was expected. Once we make it work for persons, it would be easier for other entities CRUD operations. Long delay when logging in PR created, in new release it will be fixed, its in review phase in the moment. CSV import issue, does anyone in this group have experience with that?

BRIAN: One tool that exists is the VIVO pump, just to get some stuff loaded from spreadsheets, with standard csv based import (fixed fields or you can provide your spreadsheet definition - documentation). You can just produce the RDF file or connect to API and import it directly.

MICHEL: You can use my semantic-web-studio which is on my GitHub to transform JSON data to RDF format and then use SPARQL query to import it in VIVO. Its bash tool and easier to use but unfortunately it’s not documented.

There is also csv2rdf (jena) tool - https://github.com/anuzzolese/csv2rdf

  • VIVO 1.14.0 RC 3

DRAGAN: Great collaborative work on missing labels. Some PR-s are already merged or ready to be merged so RC will be published soon.

GEORGY: I made a dataset log.

  • Summer period meetings

DRAGAN: We will organise weekly meetings until 4th of july and then go bi-weekly until middle of august because there is not very much activity but everyone who has an important topic to discuss is free to write me anytime.

MICHEL: I will work hard to make my presentation next week, I have interesting results so its better not to let it sit. It is about VIVO connected with a remote graph base.
