Notes

  1. Project from SIGMA in Spain.  CERIF as an input format for VIVO.  EuroCRIS, the maintainers of CERIF. Use CERIF as an input format for VIVO.  EuroCRIS wants to refactor their model. More modular. Jan Dvořák from EuroCRIS discussed this with Christian. Anna from Leadership Group is involved. CERIF comes from an XML background. Similarities might be in the look on research information entities. Also related to the OpenAire and their OpenAire Research Graph.  Formal MOU from Lyrasis with EuroCRIS is on the way.  Ontology Group is looking forward to have Jan as a guest. Christian will set this up.
  2. Domains and Collaborators
    1. Languages: Trying to figure out who is working on language skills. Christian will ask Gábor about ontologies on competencies.  Library of Congress
http://id.loc.gov/ontologies/iso639-2_Languages.html Tatiana has prepared a tiny ontology using classes from http://lexvo.org/ontologyWe should reach out to several communities to find out, who has already worked on ISO 639-3 as an ontology.  Handling of huge vocabularies has to be discussed in the future. Language could be a first example to think about operational issues.
    2. Research administration: Project and Grants, perhaps other entities. Perspective of research administration.
