220 minDSpace budget and resources

The DSpace budget for 2019-2020 is now available in the Lyrasis format; see also balance sheet from June 30, 2019.

Would it be possible to collect additional funding on one-time basis to speed up the development of the platform?

310 minDSpace 7 communication

The beta version of DSpace 7 has been delayed and at the moment it's not yet quite clear when it will be coming out. Therefore the Marketing WG would like to push out two messages:

  • The beta release won’t be available by the end of September as was predicted before summer.
  • A new date will be published as soon as we will be able to make a reliable estimate. We would like to make sure that the product will be of high quality, and don't want to put too much pressure on the volunteers working on DSpace 7 to finish their work in a hurry.
