•    Anna will be a speaker at the 1st OECD MARIAD webinar, to be held on Thursday, 23rd June 2022 between 14:00-16:00 (CET), via Zoom.  The webinar will focus on the top priority topic on Data Information Models for Scientific Research. There will be three presentations with a particular focus on data information models, use cases on common information models, and semantic research discovery.

    • Discussion:  Ideas on being good partners with industry.

  • DSpace-VIVO integration project (phase 1) report (Dragan, 15 mins).
    • Michel Heon and Jose Ortiz (in CC) should be in the call for some technical questions, if there is any after our presentation. Michel and Jose were selected to work on the implementation in the first phase of the project, and I believe made a nice job.
    • Strategy around developing improved interoperability with DSpace
    • Seeking project-based funding – good idea?

  • VIVO Conferences
    • Report on Planning for the 2022 VIVO Conference (Ralph, Anna and Christian, 15 Mins)
    • Report on EuroCRIS Meeting (Anna and Bruce)
    • The Berlin Alliance made a tentative offer to host a VIVO Conference.
    • Discussion: Should we partner with other organizations (Expert Finders, Open Repositories?)


Parking Lot: Discussion of group Licenses for the VIVO products (Dragan, Christian, 5-10 mins). 
At the moment copyright owner is the Cornell University, we should discuss whether it is possible to change that, i.e. to define that the VIVO group is copyright owner. We will report on actions in this direction.

      Clarivate will be stepping back to the contributor level of support.  The will continue to offer VIVO services and support.  
      Positive thoughts about VIVO and future relationships between commercial vendors and open source.

      RIM space keeps evolving 

  • DSpace-VIVO integration project (phase 1) report (Dragan, 15 mins).

First phase of project will be over 30 June.  ( internet was spotty so missed info )

Overall the project was a positive experience for the involved developers.  
The developers would recommend doing it again.
Desire is to continue to pursue this type of work.
