We discussed the proposed Outline of Documentation at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Lg6H4solS-toCbRHJlZLFupQ-j7VonUEvOYcXqQ2nAs/edit?usp=sharing
Much information is already available on the wiki (Pilot 2017-18 documentation and training) and we can reuse or modify as necessary. We want to break it down into task-specific wiki pages. If something is already adequately covered on the wiki, we can leave it as is.
Members of the group agreed to take different sections of the outline and will create wiki pages as child pages of our task group page Documentation & training. This is not the final location for the documentation. At some future date, we will decide on the best arrangement and location for it. John will be meeting with Michelle Durocher, Amy Armitage, and Michael Beckett at Harvard to discuss issues related to documentation on the wiki. Melanie mentioned this page about exploring learning resources by competency (http://explore.dublincore.net/explore-learning-resources-by-competency/) that might be relevant to our work.
Most members are more familiar with working in the web version and will concentrate on that. This is an iterative process and the work can be expanded as we go.
The target date for our first group of pages is February 15, 2019.
