Information

We have received a variety of support questions from community members facing issues with transactions in Fedora 6.x. Specifically they are running into issues with the following:

• Long commit times for large transactions
• Failed commits for long/large transactions
• Errors during commits for a long/large transactions
• Long commit times in repositories with thousands or more objects on Mysql/MariaDB platforms

As a result, the Tech and Committer teams want to streamline their efforts to resolve, and are inviting individuals who are experiencing any of these issues to come share their use case at either of the above listed open sessions. The goal is to compile the information succinctly and allow for open discussion between implementers and the tech team as we plan for deeper investigation on the issue(s).
