Notes

  1. Announcements:
    1. Fedora Showcase 3 weeks ago. Went really well. Recordings are now live and will be going on to YouTube ASAP. Slides are available on the Wiki
    2. IPres 2 weeks ago. A few potential people who may come to the the tech meetings to go over their use cases. Neil Jefferies presented on OCFL too
    3. Samvera Connect in 2 weeks. Dan presenting on Samvera Hydra Fedora Integration and community update
    4. IOI proposal was not successful in gaining grant aid. Work could still go ahead but would be funded differently
    5. Performance Testing grant might be submitted in the coming days
  2. Pop-up/other topics:
    1. Thomas raised the hanging ingest issue again. DocuTeam have put together enough information now to bring to a ticket which can be discussed in a tech meeting but Thomas would like to create the ticket beforfe it is discussed further.
    2. fedora:hasParent was discussed as it was raised on Slack. Noone was really sure of why it wouldn't be possible to add it back in. Jared will speak with Andrew Woods as he previously raised a comment on LDP not containing such as relationship.
    3. UI Research has started and prototypes of React client with Fedora backend have been tested. The need for a shim service was brought up and John Hopkins name was raised as having

    1. FCREPO-3907 - We discussed how we might chunk or resume iniital OCFL indexing. Plenty of people have the issue that indexing can take weeks to complete and is very open to interuption
