- Scott needs to complete Windows testing
- Testing nearly complete
Fedora 4 file system federation issue
- Seeing a "Too many open files" error
- Low cache refresh setting will cause Fedora to recalculate the number of objects and byte size of the repo frequently
- Increasing this setting will prevent frequent re-checking, but will also cause new objects to take longer to show up
- A separate endpoint that performs the expensive operation of traversing the repository to count all the nodes and calculate the total bytes could solve this issue
- Esme will create tickets
- Initial ticket will simply disable this calculation on the root node
- Low cache refresh setting will cause Fedora to recalculate the number of objects and byte size of the repo frequently
JCR nt:linkedFile
- Use instead of nt:file for federated content?
- The primary difference with linked files is that the file node does not need to reside as a child of the referring parent
- This could come in handy as it relates to the "seemless content" in the context of federations
Sprint Standup
- Jared
- Generating a new node with undefined namespace
- https://www.pivotaltracker.com/story/show/61500426
- 2 or 3 service level classes around the namespace registry
- May be duplication
- Connected remote Graphite server to local Fedora
- Generating a new node with undefined namespace
- Esme
- Working on file system federation tickets
- Will create new ticket for issue raised on this call and work on that today
