Eddie

  • Starting security rewrite
  • Talked with Chi, one other developer from UPEI.
  • Goal to have finished and ready at open repositories in May
  • Sketching out deliverables
  • Getting budget stuff worked out, who for what, etc.
  • Goal of drop-in rewrite of XACML architecture
  • But give choice for role-base authorization
  • Thinks it would be great to have a drop-in for AuthN like OpenID
  • Mark Leggot of UPEI funding initial work
  • Some interest from Stanford
  • Some support from FC
  • Ultimately want maintained by Fedora Commons
  • Has a google doc for this, will share w/other committers

Chris

  • Lightening up the processes
  • Make it more inviting
  • Branching - only when needed
  • Code reviews - only when needed
  • Trunk == important to keep it clean, but not immaculate
  • JIRA - Keep status directly in Bugs and Features, code tasks still available, but optional.
  • Hoping to have bamboo up for continuous integration this week.  Should help us get comfortable with making direct trunk commits.
  • On commit, run a test.  Send message to committer when successful, or message to codewatch if fails (then another "fixed" message to codewatch when somebody fixes it).
  • Did bugfix in AuthN code, want to see if Kai wants to be involved in AuthN rework
  • Will talk w/Andrew Monday about first bug to bite off

Aaron

  • Will be having call with IA, curious about setup at NSDL

Bill

  • Admin client has been only Fedora task
  • Remainder has been Duraspace

Andrew

  • Has been able to get through A and B tests
  • Looking at high level config files
  • Trying to understand what they do
  • Getting new machine soon
  • Remainder has been Duraspace
