Story (A paragraph or two describing what happens)When researcher Pete finished his paper, he submits it to a system other than the institutions DSpace repository. Although it was never formally submitted to it, Dspace harvests al content from the platform. By doing so Pete's research becomes available for all users of the institution's DSpace repository.




  1. Some possible metadata/record inputs include CrossRef, DataCite, PubMed, ORCID works, SHARE, etc.

  2. This use case is implement in DSpace-CRIS with a periodic scanning of external bibliographic databases (currently Scopus, Web of Science and PubMed Europe) see Integration with external databases (Scopus, Web of Science, etc.)
