Contribute to the DSpace Development Fund

PW and JC reported on their action to edit down the plain language summary. They had agreed that as the existing wiki page was a summary of a webinar, it would be more helpful instead to create a plain language summary describing what was new and different in DSpace 7, as opposed to a description of the project / processes / history. It was acknowledged that a description drafted at this time could not be comprehensive, since it's not yet known what exactly will be included in the release.
FD reminded the meeting of the need to identify the key make-or-break features.
Actions
It was agreed that Pauline Ward would try to create a new wiki page where this content could be drafted (P.S. What's new and different in DSpace7 ) , Jose Carvalho would add greater detail, and others (PW in particular) would then proof-read this, in time for the next meeting on 10 May.
Felicity Dykas agreed to pull together some information/sign-posting for the next meeting to assist members to find the use cases already selected for inclusion, and to identify and agree on which would be given the highest priority.
